Can I make and decorate a cake and freeze it until friday? My husbands birthday is Sat, and I have to work through Friday. I want to make and decorate the cake today,but I want to make sure it will ok on Sat when we go to eat it with family and friends. The cake is nothing fancy just your average cake pan cake, decortated.

daughter's baby shower .... baked on thursday .... had shower on saturday ..... some leftover cake ..... stored in 'frig...... ate it on wednesday .... cake was 7 days old .... tasted as good as day one!
