so i have a 5 tier due on saturday. it's stacked -no pillars. is there any way to get the tiers to stack with out sticking my fingers into the tier under the one i'm adding? it's hard to get them centered without screwing up the icing. i'm still a newbie at this so i'd love some tips!

I had two 4-stacked cakes this past weekend. I take my spatula with me and use it to help set the cake in place, then slide the spatula out.

But that's what bottom borders are for! To cover up those finger marks! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

(I'll quote her again: Kerri Vincent said she will NOT do a cake that is borderless.)
