I live on a military base in MA. My question is, is there anyone working out of their house on base? If so, are you word of mouth or did you register with the base? I am dying to really get started but right know the only place i have to work is out of my house. i know sometime you have a different set of rules when living on a base b/c it is a federal installation. Any info would be greatly appreciated. usaribbon.gif

When I was in the military I worked for Public Health. Public Health would be a GREAT department to start with. In the military there are lots of little rules and they will know wether or not you need to have their blessing. Public Health is the department that does inspections of food facilities and of in home daycare. Most of the military homes I had to inspect were of family home daycare. Also the services department will be able to tell you if you can or cannot have a food business out of your home.

Good Luck!
