I made 2 batches of cupcakes on Thurs. On fri I went to decorate them and found that almost all the liners had come away from the cupcake. Of course these were for a halloween party and i didn't have time to make anymore. They looked aweful! What would hace caused this?

ummm...the only thing I can think of is moisture! That is really strange?? and you had just the one liner? Sometimes I use two and the second one comes off....I wonder if anyone else has had your problem??

Remember reading that leaving the cupcakes in the pan causes steaming of the wrappers....

Promptly removing the cupcakes from pans to cooling racks was said to alleviate this problem.

I used to have that problem, until I started buying wilton cupcake liners, in walmart they cost the same as the other brands, per liner.
