I'm putting together a cake binder (a go to book) that is separate from my photo album of cakes. In organizing this, I'm not sure what to include on the "tabs" besides Recipes, Instructions, etc...
Can anyone help?
How about serving sizes (pieces per cake as well as cups of batter per pan size), cutting charts, color chart, ingredient substitutions, flavor combinations. That's about all I can think of right now.
pricing sheet, order forms, calendar, popular size combinations...like 12, 9, 6in.
Oh I have a chart that shows pan sizes, how many cups of batter it takes to fill the pan, baking times and temperatures and number of servings. I have used this chart until I almost can't read it. I would definitely recommend one of those in your binder.
