I'll be doing my first WASC this weekend. I would like to make it "white chocolate" - do you think it would be ok to add chopped white chocolate to this recipe? I have good experience doing that to regular white box mix, but wasn't sure about the WASC.
Also, I found a variation of the recipe that calls for 6 whole eggs instead of 8 egg whites. How do you think that substitution would alter the recipe?
White chocolate chunks will do fine, but you could also melt the chocolate and mix it in with the other ingredients. Just make sure it has cooled before you mix it or you will have chunks from where it cooled too quickly. I think the 6 eggs instead of 8 egg whites will work fine because on white box mixes, it tells you to use 3 eggs or 4 egg whites, so it should be fine.
