I think cookies are really only 'fresh' for a few days. for longer storage, it is best to freeze them.

A few weeks ago I did some NFSC for a baby shower. I baked on Wednesday and stored in an airtight container after they were well cooled. I iced them on Thursday and covered with foil. They were still fresh on Saturday when they were served. Everyone loved them!

HTH!

Yeah, I would agree, I did them up for teacher appreciation week and had to do 120, so obviously had to do them in advance -I did shrink wrap package them but by the next week (I had left overs) they were already drying out and crumbling. They were still good enough to eat because I ate them but not the freshest. So after all that, I would say just a few days for the best results. Good luck!!
