I have to make a birthday cake with a B52 bomber for tuesday. Simple, 10" round, white BC, Air Force Blue borders. I'm trying to figure out whether to do a FBCT, a freehand drawing, or a gumpaste model. I'm only getting $25 for the cake (fixed pricing at work), but I really want to work with my new gumpaste tools that I got last weekend. but, I've never made a model plane, either. Oh, and this is for the plant manager.

Any ideas?

TIA!!!

I used a plastic model to make a silicone mold which I used to make a gumpaste plane. It worked pretty well. Here's a link, in case you want to see it.
