You might get it faster if you go to a grocery store, it is sold on the cake aisle under the brand name Solo

I am originally from England where marizan is used on Christmas fruit cakes & is readily available in huge blocks at the grocery store. Since living in the US I have had to make my own & I actually prefer it to the store bought Solo - it is less grainy. If you would like the recipe let me know!

I would also love to have the recipe, I've only ever had Solo and would love to taste fresh marzipan.
Thanks

MARZIPAN RECIPE

- 8 ou almond paste cut into small pieces (usually found in the aisle with all the other pie fillings)
- 3 TBSP light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 2/3 cup marshmallow cream
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar

Combine almond paste, corn syrup, flavoring & marshmallow cream in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, until it forms a stiff ball.

This makes quite a lot of marzipan ~ enough to cover the top & sides of a 9" fruitcake with some left over for nibbling on (my favorite part!)
