anyone have any experience with gold leaf? I see (the incomparable) Margaret Braun uses it on her cakes. I have used 24k gold powder with extract before, but never the little leaf sheets. Any advantages to them? Disadvantages?
i've used gold leaf on some masks i've made, but never on a cake. i will tell you though that either way, you have to be very gentle with them or they'll tear really easily. what are you putting it on?
