Totally amazing, but a little creepy... I mean that in the nicest possible way.
Who is the cake artist?
I'm thinking Roland Winebeckler - isn't he the one that made a life-size marilyn monroe?
freaking amazing!! it looks like a "mike's amazing cakes" cake! is there a website???
I was thinking the same thing! And I do want to know who did this and if they have a website.
Im not sure, I know the lady in the pic design the cake, but have no clue, if she has a website or not. My mom sent the pic, and someone sent the pic to her.

what's her name? can we do a search by that?
This has been passed around all day at work, we still don't know who did it.
Gotta love the web. I see you are in Chicago, my mom lives in Houston and Im in Japan
I don't see this particular one on Roland's site, but it looks similar to his work.

There are several pics on the bottom of his home page-Colonel Sanders, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Di, and Elvis to name a few.
That's really something! So do they say "Now you may cut the bride"? hee hee
But seriously, beautiful bride and cake.

ok, i am pervert and i am keeping all my thoughts to myself on this one. i'll just say that it puts a whole new meaning to something.
I think the lady in the picture kinda looks like the cake..
I think shes the bride, not the baker. Just not in her dress.
Amazing indeed even though i can't bare the thought of people slicing me great work i also can't imagine eating a dead elvis or marilyn.

Thats Me!!!!!
Definately the 'bust' of the bride is polymer clay or similar -- NOT CAKE.
The cake is the rounds that make up the dress.
There is another post on here about this cake. I can't find it right now but I think it said that the bust was polymer clay. Whoever did it certainly has talent.
