So, I finished my cigar box. I kinda wished I'd been able to make it look more like a traditional box, but maybe next time. The picture I email to her as an idea was an open box (no lid) so I don't think she'll be disappointed with that. We discussed the box being gold with black details.
Inside is a white cake (half of an 11x15), torted with BC and slices of fresh strawberries and kiwi fruit. The box is made of pastillage painted w/ Gold Luster Dust. I know the writing sucks icon_redface.gif I'm working on it! icon_smile.gif

Anyway, I deliver this to her in an hour...a little nervous. What do you think and what would you have charged for this cake?

Thanks for your time guys,

p.s.- I can't upload it to CC for some reason. It's on my blog:

Thanks Kavingate! What would you have charged for the cake?

Also, I check out you flickr site. I'm a big fan of the belly cakes and I think yours is my favorite thus far. I may have to consult you when I try my first one next month!
