Hi Everyone,

I am wanting to make some fondant flowers. It seems to me I have read about mixing gumpaste and fondant. Or maybe it was putting gum tex into the fondant. Anyway, I am wanting to make some roses. How long can these roses keep?

They keep forever as long as you keep them dry, tho they may fade in the sun.

Don't try to make roses with straight fondant. Use either gumpaste, a mixture of fondant and gumpaste, or fondant mixed with tylose. (I've never used gumtex, so I can't advise you there. You'll be able to get the thinnest petals with straight gumpaste.
