Those are great!

I did a few myself during downtime. I hope I am linking these correctly.

Great idea on starting this thread! I'm in the process of checking out and commenting on your cakes. I uploading one during that time as well:

Thanks for taking the time to look!

All of your cakes look great. I'm sure there are a lot of great looking cakes out there that were missed! The server upgrade is a good thing though. I have noticed the pages load so much quicker!

If you have already uploaded these pictures then I am sure they can/will be seen in the "latest uploads" link. There are 4 pages of uncommented on photos right now and it will take us gallery support members and other members some time to get them all caught back up and everyone's pictures commented on. With the servers going up and down it is the best that can be done at this time. Uploading pictures more than once may make the system even slower while Heath and Jackie are trying to get switched over.
Just a thought for you all before hundreds of repeat photos get uploaded again. You may want to wait to upload any further pictures until the switch over has been completed so you won't have to worry about your pictures getting lost in the shuffle of things. icon_smile.gif

I uploaded just before the switch over. And my Lightning McQueen cake kinda got lost in the shuffle, too. Not too many comments at all. And it was my first ever carved cake. Ok....I'm done feeling sorry for myself now.

See? All better, now! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

Lots of beautiful cakes did get missed, though. Love all those I've seen, and I'm keeping on looking, now that I've found this thread to link to some of the pics! icon_biggrin.gif

Oh...forgot to add...to make it easier...here's the link to my photo:

Teekakes, thank you for the tip about the recently uploaded page. Now I can catch up on the photos I've missed. I'm sure it will prove to be more efficient than sitting in front of my computer all day refreshing the home page. (By the way, no I'm not addicted, I can stop anytime....) icon_smile.gif

Nah, I am not addicted either. icon_lol.gif
You are welcome. It is the easiest way to catch up on all the photos uploaded during this conversion time and it doesn't bog the server down by pictures being uploaded twice. thumbs_up.gif

Can only certain members view the uncommented photos because it says I cannot when I click that link. Just wondering! Thanks

use the blue button under that, that says "last uploads". I'm not sure what the "view uncommented" button is for.

The view uncommented is for gallery support members to click on and view the pictures that have not been commented on.
You can sign up to be a gallery support member once you have posted a minimun of 100 posts.
Everyone else can see all photos by clicking on the "last uploads" link and you can see all photos whether they have been commented on or not.

girltrapped your fall themed wedding cake is very nice. Do you know you have comments turned off, and no one can leave comments on your cake? I was going to leave one icon_smile.gif
