I had to post this one. This was super easy and fun. It was a small one for practice since it was my first time. I cannot for the life of me upload a pic. the right way on here,so you might have to check my photos. It's the pumpkin one.

Let me know what you think.

That looks great! I've been wanting to make a cupcake cake for a while. I might have to make one to take to work....and I'll use the excuse of trying out my new stand mixer as my excuse... icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I haven't tried to do one of these cakes yet. This is probably a dumb question but how do you get the top so level, my cup cakes are always overflowing and round on top. Do you cut the tops off or do you underfill the cups so they don' t get rounded tops??? If anyone could explain it I would appreciate it. Thanks

If you only put 1/4 cup of batter in your cupcake liner, it should rise just to the top of the liner & you shouldn't get a dome on your cupcake. I've made a couple of these cakes & they are a lot of fun and easy peasy.

very cute , would love to make one. Could you please explain how to do this? Keeping all the cupcakes together and frosting the top so that it looks like one piece? I could use some help before trying this.

I used the same tutorial that was posted. I filled my cups about 1/2 full though and let them overflow a bit, then as soon as they came out of the oven I sort of smashed them all down with my hand to make them level. Does that make sense??? I think the overflowing helps cut down the gaps inbetween. I did a bigger one yesterday, same picture, but I added some black swiss dots and orange sprinkles to it for a hayride I went to. It was a big hit!!!

I love them for kids/class parties as they take away the need for plates and forks!
