Does anyone know how to make Royal icing "Ice Blue"?
When I put just a tiny bit of royal blue, it made very pale pastel green.
When I add a little bit more, it turned baby blue.
Cliant wants "ice blue wicth is paler than baby blue"

Please, help!

to the baby blue add white either wilton or americolor

Or you can try using americolor electric blue...just a tiny bit.

Good luck,

Julia

getfrosted, Julia,

Thank you for your input.
Since I can't get Americolor anytime soon, I'll try Wilton Sky Blue tonight.
I was going to get it this morning but I had sick kid at home icon_cry.gif
Now my sick DH is on the way to Michaels thumbs_up.gif

Wish me luck!!

If i see that my icing color came out to dark I just use the Wilton icing white. I use a drop at a time so this way I get it howe I want.

Used Sky Blue with tiny bit of Red-Red made it perfect Ice Blue color.
Thank you all for your help.

Now I have 200 more roses to make tonight!!

Good luck with those roses! I had to do approx. 300 for one of my cakes and my hand didn't want to work the next day. Make sure that you have a couple of icing bags going at once so that when the heat up you can change them.

Make sure you post pics!
