The topic pretty much says it all. My husband came up with a good idea but the mom wants me to continue brainstorming. To tell you the truth, my brain has had clear skies for a while now. icon_cry.gif

No holds barred people. Let the creative juices flow. I would appreciate it GREATLY. icon_biggrin.gif

You could make a cake that looks like the lab of a mad scientist, with beakers over flowing with bubbly goo, a jar of eye balls, and some other kooky things, I will try to find a pic of whats in my mind.

I did a mad sci party for my son when he turned 10. An entire room became a labatory w/ great experiments with slime and magnets. The cake was a human brain carved from a pyrex bowl and filled with red jello. I don't have any pic b/c it was quite a while ago, but I'm sure you get the idea. If you need any activities check out stevespengler.com. It's a great website for any science nerds, me included. Not sure if i got the spelling right on spengler, you might need to google it icon_wink.gif

What if you created a table with a bunch of mis-matched body parts. You could include some spool type things for electricity, like he was being brought to life! Have another table with jar of organs! Bet the loaf and mini loaf pans would be awesome for this!

My son is 10 and so these are his thoughts! He loves gross science stuff!
Good luck!

right now at Target they have halloween candy skulls in beakers and a few other scientist type items in the Halloween isle. May be good for decorating or kid's favors.

Here's a link to the pics in the gallery when I searched "science." The cookies are pretty cute.

Here's one that I've had saved in my favorites. I was hoping for an excuse to make something similar.

I will share these ideas with my friend and see if she likes them. I love them and will keep these in my bag of goodies for a later date as well. thumbs_up.gif
