I did this Hannah Montana cake this weekend for a a neighbors daughter. She is a friend of my daughter so the mom knew me and asked me to make it.

It was all chocolate, vanilla/almond buttercream, no filling, stars, guitar, and number 8 on front are fondant.

It was fun to make!

Thank you, Rincewind! They loved the cake. The mom was bragging about me and I could see them pointing my way!! I was so embarrassed but at the same time flattered! icon_redface.gificon_biggrin.gif

I'm going to making a HM cake in a couple of weeks for my daughters birthday, could you tell me what you made the HM picture out of?

Littlewurn15: Hi!

The Hannah Montana is an actual picture. The parent had it printed out and I made a picture frame out of cardboard. So it was being supported like a real picture with its picture frame.

Thank you for the information. I have to make this cake 3 different times to accommodate her real birthday and all of the parties for the extended family. So being able to just use a picture like that will make it a lot easier.
