What Speed Should I Use?

I'm not sure what speed and how long I should beat my cake mixes on my KA Artisan. icon_confused.gif I never know if I'm underbeating or overbeating.

Hi, If you look in the manual it says medium speed is a 4, and i know the cake mix boxes say 2 min at med speed. Hope this helps icon_smile.gif

When I mix my cakes using my KA, I always do the very lowest speed for 30 seconds, then the next up speed for 2 min. Gets the job done great!!

I have an Artisan. I do it on number 4 for two minutes.
