I intend to make a cake as a gift for my brother who is graduating from law school. I need help on making a lawyer's wig and garment. Calling on all CC members for tips.

If you got to google and search the images there is lots to look at there seems to be 2 styles for the wig for inspiration...

The gavel(sp?) mallet thing would be a great touch for the cake and easy to make out of gumpaste.

Make some other CCer's can elaborate on this for you as to ideas....Hope this gets the ball rolling....

Thanks Nancy. I actually need tips on sculpturing the wig. Would a round or ball shapped cake do?. Please any one with a sketch on scupturing the cake. I am not good with royal icing but I intend to use royal icing to make the wooly part of the wig. What piping tip should i use? Any useful information will be appreciated. Thanks.

APlease did you eventually get to make the wig cake? How did u do it please. I mean the wooly part
