I baked two strawberry cakes (the recipe posted in the recipes section by Steady2Hands) and froze them. I plan to decorate them on Friday for a party Saturday. Will the cakes need to be refrigerated after decorating? These are the first cakes I've made with actual fruit in it and I wasn't sure.

Thanks

Do you mean, the cakes themselves have strawberry in the batter, or the filling is strawberry? I should think that they wouldn't have to be refrig. if you're just talking about the cake...however fruit filling needs to be kept refrigerated. I'm not 100% sure as the only cakes I've ever done w/fruit in them also DID have perishable filling so I always had to refrigerate them anyway!
