I use mine over and over. If they are iced with royal just soak them in warm water to dissolve the icing. If they are covered in fondant they will need to soak for quite a while. If iced in buttercream use lots of soapy hot water. To make them easier to clean wrap in saran wrap and ice over that. It's a little harder to ice the dummy but the clean up is a breeze.

Dishwasher. Honest!

I don't soak them or anything, just stick it in the dishwasher (push down onto the prongs to keep it from flying around), and send it through a normal cycle. Sometimes I have enough dummies to clean that I can run a cycle with just dummies, but usually I'll stick one or two in with my regular dishes.

The detergent breaks down the icing, and they come out squeaky clean.

I just run a knife (spatula) under the BC and it pops right off. I don't wrap or treat the dummy in any way. Once the icing is removed, I just take a damp rag to wipe them clean. Takes 5 minutes.
