If I make the oreo truffles (oreos & cream cheese dipped in almond bark) - how long do you think they can sit out without refrigeration?? Say I give them for a gift - do I need to tell people to put them right in the fridge??

Thanks.

If they have cream cheese in them they need to remain refrigerated at all times... I would advise people of this when gift giving.

Yes I don't like the idea of cream cheese not being refridgerated. I always keep them in the fridge and tell people who I give them to, to do so as well.

Also, once you cover something moist with chocolate, the air inside can promote mold. They do not have an indefinite shelf life. Refrigeration will help.
