This is my first wedding cake and I am meeting with them tomorrow. They want a 12" 9" and 6" round cake with cream cheese icing and carrot cake. They also want a price to cover the cake with fondant. Will that taste okay? I told them most people wont eat the fondant. Can anyone give me a general price or any suggestions or recipes. Thanks so much.

There are plenty of recipes in the recipe section for a cream cheese icing and for fondant (if you want to make it)

For fondant, most people add about $1 a serving to their base price.

YOUR price will depend on where you are, and the typcical wedding cake charges in your area.

Yes, if you use the Wilton fondant no one will eat it but there are ready made fondants that do taste good. One I like is called FondX. You can also get LorAnn oil to flavor it, they have cream cheese flavor.
