You'd have way more servings than you'd need with a full sheet cake .. below is a guide for how many servings for some sheet cakes .. I'm not sure how accurate this one is but I know with the size cake you're planning (full sheet)you'd have way more than 70 servings ...

The sheet cake you buy at ..say ..micheals is only a half sheet cake. You might have the 1/2 sheet. you could put them together. What size pan do you have

If you go to www.wilton.com and click on Cake on the left side of the page, then click on Cake Preparation at the top... On the next page, scroll down to Baking times, batter amounts and # of servings at the bottom of the page and click on that. At the bottom of the next page, you will find links for Wedding & Party cake baking and Cutting guides for 2 and 3 in. pans.

I use this all the time. Hope it helps!

I have looked at the Wilton size chart several times and several times I've gotten mixed reviews as far as the servings per layer. Most people say they are not "real" people portions and others say Earlene's website has a better idea of serving amounts but there aren't any amounts for 2" deep sheet pans - that I've seen. I think baker911 website uses this same measurement taken from Earlene's website. I decided I was just going to have to use ginajuarez' idea (i think she is the one that said this on another post) and mark off the servings on the bottom of the pan with a marker!

thanks for the help though, jjandascog!
