Here's my question...

This is the first time I actually have had to do all of my cake work (baking, decorating, etc.) over the course of 2 days. Should I refridgerate the cake overnight until tomorrow decorating or should I leave it wrapped on the counter overnight?

Please help!!

I ususally wrap and leave it on the counter. Of course, it depends on what kind of filling that you have.

I'd leave it wrapped on the counter. It'll be just fine for one day.

it'll be just fine on the counter for one day, unless you have a filling in it. if so, i would place in fridge. hope this helps. good luck icon_biggrin.gif gail

Thanks for the quick responses gals! thumbs_up.gif

I'm not going to fill them until tomorrow. But here's another question I have....

I'm using Bronwen's Buttercream recipe and since it has no shortening, but all butter, I'm wondering if it will keep out overnight after it's covered in Fondant?? I would like to do all my decorating tomorrow night and the cake is not due until Sat. @ 1pm. I really don't want to do the Fondant on Saturday....

Any Suggestions?
