I'm trying to make little gerbera daisies with MMF, but I'm having SO much trouble getting it out of the cutter, that it's totally mangled by the time I do! And then so much time is spent on getting it back into decent shape... there has to be a faster way to make 100 flowers!!!

I've never done a gumpaste flower class so I'm trying to figure out how to do this. I've rolled the MMF super thin, coated everything in icing sugar, and still it firmly sticks to the cutter.

Please help!!!

There could be a couple of reasons this happens. One, your fondant doesn't have enought powdered sugar to start with. Two, wash your cutter and make sure it is completely clean, dip in powdered sugar to coat it, then cut. Once your cutter starts to have the fondant stick to it, you need to clean it again or your next one will stick too. Hope this helps.
