How do you know when/if a flavor combo filling is too much flavoring to the point where it's confusing to the palete.

Would three complimenting flavors be too much? Ex.

Strawberries and cream cake
strawberry filling between chocolate/banana cream whipped ganache
banana cream cream cheese icing

I was originally thinking of strawberry and banana cream bc for filling, but we all know that chocotale goes so well with both. Do you think it's too much, too confusing?
