I like to crumble my cake scraps, spread them on a cookie sheet and bake them on low for a few minutes until the crumbs are dried out good. I then mix in some Captain Morgan's Parrot Bay Cocconut rum. Add enough to make them into cake balls. Drizzle them with some chocolate or roll them in some powedered sugar and you have my favorite "adult" cake balls. I found they taste best with yellow cake although I've made these with several different cakes.

Sounds delish! So you don't dip them to cover them in chocolate?

What a great idea! I love my cake balls, but will try baking them too and see how they taste.

LindaF144,
I don't dip mine in chocolate just because I don't think alcohol and chocolate would mix well in my stomach. I drizzle a little chocolate on them or roll them in powdered sugar. Do try them!
