I use godaddy.com

Haven't researched others to see how it compares, but I've used it for 7 years now and haven't had any problems.

I use DomainNameSanity. they are reasonable, and you can update and work on your site anytime you want. I'm happy with them, we also use them for my BIL site. My hubby designed my first site, then we just updated it with a total overhaul. EASY!!!

I have also used godaddy.com for quite a few sites. Pretty easy and they offer some decent packages.

I use doteasy.com. It's $25 per year and I've never had a problem. They have other packages, but this buys your domain name.

It also has basic website development programming. My husband does mine and is working on my new one for the DVD that toomuchcake and I made.

I got mine when I signed up through Homestead. Not sure if they got it from someone else or how exactly that works.

I use godaddy.com for domain registration. I use flarehosting.net for my hosting package (DH built our site using a language that the godaddy packages didn't support).

Here is a link to the top 10 website hosts, according to cost, reliability, etc. I've heard good things about HostGator and BlueHost, their top 2.

http://www.prchecker.info/top-10-web-hosting.php

Hope that helps.
