I wanted to use the the Dream Whip Frosting recipe on this site but wanted it to be chocolate. Has anyone else ever done this and it come out good? If so, would you mind telling me what you did?

The recipe I am wanting to use is:

2 lbs icing sugar
1 envelope Dream Whip
2 cups Crisco
1/2 cup Boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla ( clear )
1 tbsp clear corn syrup
2 tbsp - 1/4 cup flour

Before you get exasperated with my question, I DID do a search and didn't find the answer. Of course, I could have missed it or searched incorrectly....nevertheless, I need help if you can.

Thanks in advance!

At the risk of having rotten eggs and tomatoes thrown at me for "bumping," I'm doing it anyway. LOL!

I am making this tomorrow and need an answer if there is one to be had.

Thanks much!
