I've been asked to come with an idea for individual airplane cakes for a rehearsal dinner -- one per person. I can use cake, chocolate, anything that is edible that will make a nice dessert. The groom owns his own small plane. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

sheet cake cut w/ airplane shaped cookie cutter?

(tho' I'd prefer brownies cut that way and then iced w/ melted chocolate!)

ooo...and could be on a bed of whipped cream or cool whip -- that being the clouds.

could make them multi-layer (brownie, filling (peanut butter?) blondie)
