Hi! Has anyone ever made cookies for the "12 Days of Christmas?"
I was looking for some unique ideas. Thanks for your help!!

The lyrics are:

Twelve Drummers Drumming
Eleven Pipers Piping
Ten Lords a Leaping
Nine Ladies Dancing
Eight Maids a Milking
Seven Swans a Swimming
Six Geese a Laying
Five Golden Rings
Four Calling Birds
Three French Hens
Two Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree

They sell the cookied cutters for the 12 days of Christmas so you could get those and decorate them.

What a fun cookie idea. I am doing the Twelve Days of Christmas for my boyfriend this year! I had no idea there was cookie cutters. Having a touch time finding gifts to correspond to all the verses of the song. Yay! I'm going to watch this thread and see what others have to say.

If you don't want to buy a set dedicated to the 12 days of christmas, maybe you could use a gingerbread man, decorated differently for the drummers, pipers, and maybe the lords leaping if you pull out their legs a little bit!

The partridge, dove, and hens may be able to be done with a dove cutter and a few additions by hand.

Geese and Swans could probably come from the same cutter.

Ladies dancing might need it's own cutter.
Maids milking could be be shared with the dancing ladies depending on the cutter you find. Or a cow would be cute.

Rings could be done with 2 round cutters and a stone for the top cut by hand.

Good luck! Be sure to show us what you come up with!
