I have a request for whip cream icing. I looked in the recipe section and can't find any recipes for this. Does anyone have one to share or can I buy it somehwere?

I always use the recipe from wilton:

http://www.wilton.com/recipes/recipesandprojects/icing/stable.cfm

I use regular vanilla and don't have a problem with the icing being off-white. This icing holds up well in the fridge, you can pipe simple borders with it and you can color it if you do it gently. My only problem with it is that you can't get it completely smooth so whoever you are making it for needs to be aware of that and won't nit-pick you to death over it!

I use the Wilton recipe as well. I use a cake comb on the sides, and just pipe the top.

Thanks for the recipe. Doesn't seem too difficult. Would that be enough icing to cover a 9x13 cake, or do I need a double recipe?
