Hey Ladies and Gentlemen,

You are all so creative and helpful here. I love looking at all your cake pics and learn something new everyday here.

I have a question about the Wilton Car pan. If I were to line it with Saran Wrap and then put a coating of Orange Sherbert in it and then freeze and then fill it with vanilla ice cream and then top with Sherbert do you think that it would pull out of the pan ok?

Also if it will come out alright do you think it would be ok to do some basic buttercream decorations on it?

Thanks,
Misty

I would think maybe you should use some sort of pan release spray.. Saran Wrap may leave imprints in the ice cream.. Other than that I don't see why you cant just go for it.. Don't forget to post a pic!

Should work fine! I'd try doing it without lining it and if it doesn't come out you can put warm water in your sink and dip the pan in the warm water for a few seconds and the sherbert should melt just enough to allow you to flip it out without affecting the shape.

Good Luck!
Debbie
