I'm so excited! My business was "featured" in the religion section of the Raleigh News and Observer. There is a huuuuge picture of my daughter (chani here on CC) and I braiding challah. If you're interested they also have the photo/caption at the following link and you can hear me talk about my business.

Congrats you guys! That is sooo exciting! I wish we got the Raliegh News and Observer but we get the Charlotte Observer ... close but not quite.

Congrats! Sounds like you are really filling a void in your area. Hope it brings you lots more business!

Very cool! I listened to the audio clip and learned a ton of stuff in that little clip! Found out I was pronouncing 'parve' incorrectly too.
Congratulations on making the paper too! I got my print ad proof in an email yesterday and can't wait to see it actually in the paper next month!!
Way to go Kathik!! I am sure you are doing a great business here in Raleigh. I do not know of anyone else who does what you do. You and your daughter look like you are having fun, which is what is all about!! Congratulations again!!
Wow, congratulations. We don't get the paper, but I checked out your link. How nice to know that you are doing something you enjoy, something you can share with your daughter, but also something that is spiritually rewarding as well.
Thanks again, everyone. Shabbos is over so I had to come get my CC fix!
Stefanie and alisoncooks, thank you. You are so right. I really have no good memories with my mother and it makes me feel so fulfilled that my daughter and I enjoy doing things together!
Thanks again,
Kathi

Kathi, How exciting for you, your family and now your community! Thanks so much for sharing that, I enjoyed learning about your Kosher bakery and what "Parve" means. Every time I see a post from you, I'll remember the article & clip and think of you and your daughter being together doing something you love. Good luck and the best of wishes to you and yours!
