Would anyone have any ideas for a cake that includes construction sites, or bull dozers or dump trucks? I agreed to make a cake for a friend's son's birthday and I'm having a hard time finding ideas.
Thanks,

I work for a construction company and made as cake for the guys not too long ago. It was a 14 in square chocolate cake. I used regular BCI colored a brownish red on the top. On the sides I used "caution tape" yellow. I used black to write "MEN AT WORK" and "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" on the sides. On the top I put some little plastic toys and made mounds of 'red clay' with Nilla wafer crumbs colored the same reddish brown as the icing. Everyone loved it. Too bad I don't have a pic though. When I got the camera, half the cake was gone!

I just did one for my 3 year old. It had matchbox cars, teddy graham construction workers, oreo dirt, pretzel logs, and graham cracker sand. It is in my photos. Take a look, I hope it inspires something.
