I was wondering if anyone has ever made a fondant witch. I would like to make a calderon cake this year with a 3-D fondant witch standing next to it but I am not sure where to start as far as sculpting it. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it!

Thank you!!

Try Debbie Brown's website. She has some really cute witches in some of her books.

This is a witch sitting on a broom, but maybe you can get an idea on how to make her from it.

Here is a topper I did for a Halloween birthday cake using Debbie Browns idea and instructions. The cauldron is a styrofoam ball flattened on the bottom so it would stand upright without rolling around, I scooped a bit of the top out as well and covered it with black fondant. The bubbles are just balls of fondant.

I made the witches of 50/50 paste (half fondant, half gumpaste) they don't have full bodies, just the heads were made on a bamboo skewer and stuck into the side of the cauldron when dried, the gowns are attached to the cauldron with gum glue, the arms I did on wire, stuck them on and then covered with a fondant sleeve.
