A customer wants this cake, but also wants it with a big cherry on the top of it, with the #1 balancing on the top of the cherry. Does anyone know if that is possible, or how to do it?

Can you make the 1 with supports that are long enough to go through the cherry and into the cake? Not sure if that makes sense, but I'm thinking of something like a lollipop stick or maybe even coffee stirrers.

I could try that. Thanks!

Make your cherry pretty fat and round but indented at top, like real fruit, then do what dazey said and make your #1 with a long support to go through the cherry and into the cake.
