Awesome, awesome job! I just did my first castle cake as well, and it was a disaster! I have SUCH newfound respect.

rosita, you did an amazing job. I did my first castle cake at the beginning of the month and I thought it was alot harder to make than what it looks like in the tutorial I tried to follow. Great job thumbs_up.gif

I've seen those wilton ones in so many colors on here. Do they come already with the color or do you do it yourself? I've only seen one color on the ones at the store which is purple.

They're all plain white when you get them... you can decorate however you want... kinda nice but I also like the idea of being able to eat EVERYTHING icon_smile.gif

I made my castle cake almost the same way except I covered my paper towel rolls in plastic wrap so I could pull them out when the fondant dried and then everything was edible when I was done.

Well, i'm back and i have to say that my way is sort of like cake bosses except for the brick impression. I used a papertowel roll and put in the icecream cone the same way. Then i wrapped the tube with bubble wrap and rolled in white chocolate. They turned out better than i expected with no way to create that brick impression. Thanks for listening.

Not on mine cuz i glued the bubble wrap to the papertowl tubes but i'm sure if you figured out how to remove the bubble wrap after you could make it edible. I did put chocolate on a small piece and let it set, then peeled it and it did come off easy i just didn't have the time to try this with the tourettes. Maybe someone could put more time into this to see if it could be done.
