I was at my favorite cake store and saw rose water. Couldn't resist buying some but not sure what to do with it. I understand you can made simple syrup with it but didn't know if the flavor was strong like vanilla. Any suggestions on what to do wtih this cool stuff.

Rose water is a key ingredient for baklava - that's a yummy treat!

It is also used in gum glue for gumpaste flowers. Rosemarie Watson gave out the recipe before she quit making molds for decorators. It gives the flowers the rose smell. I would use it but...I am allergic to roses. So when I tried it I broke out in hives. icon_cry.gif So back to regular water. icon_sad.gif
