I have used liquid coffee creamers, as well as a mango juice, in place of water, and have had no problems. I do add an extra egg, though. HTH!

Hi Janabear,
You can absolutly add juice instead of water to your cake mixes. My husbands favorite cake is orange cake with orange cream cheese filling. All I do is use a yellow cake mix and substitute the water for fresh squeezed orange juice. There is also a great book that has lots of recipes using cake mixes and addins its called the "Cake Mix Doctor." Hope this helps. icon_biggrin.gif

I've used orange juice to a cake mix before. It turned out great.

Pillbury comes out with a book about "Doctoring" their cake mixes. I come across it every so often in the check out line at my grocery store. I pick it up just to see what things they suggest.

HTH!

I have used sprite and coke. It gives it a different texture.
