Has anyone tried to make cake balls out of brownie leftovers?
Someone had suggested this to me & I was wondering if anyone has actually tried this? If you have, can you tell me how you made them.
TIA
I've done it. I mushed the brownies into the size balls that I wanted and mixed in some toffee chips, then dipped. The brownies were really moist and fudgey so I didn't add any liquid at all.
Bet they would be good with a little peanut butter mixed in then dipped in white chocolate! Maybe some reeses pieces or m & m's or pecans or....the possibilies are endless
I have done it also Im with jen1977 my brownies were moist so I didnt add anything to it. I rolled them into balls, dipped in chocolate and then rolled in sprinkles.....they were sooooooo good and rich!
I'm sorry...
Brownie.....LEFTOVERS??????
Does....not.....compute....
That's like saying save your leftover wine to use for cooking!

I'd make brownies just for this reason, but yeah, I didn't realize there was such a thing as brownie "leftovers"!
You know what would be really yummy...is to somehow squirt some raspberry syrup/filling in the center of the brownie ball and then dip!!!
Thank you for your answers, I was planning on doing cutouts with the brownies & needed an idea for the scraps (as I don't need them that's for sure ) Anywho I've never made cakeballs before so I was just wondering if this would work.
Thanks for your help
