Hi, can anyone recommend a cake recipe that I could use to make a nice 3d teddy bear cake? I was told by a friend of mine to use a boxed pound cake recipe, but I am worried that it won't be moist enough. Thoughts???

I've made the teddy bear using the pound cake recipe on the side of the DH cake box.

I just went through this 'recipe experimentation' with the 3D bear cake pan and after 7 tries, figured out that the pound cake recipe on the side of the DH yellow cake mix box worked the best. I made that and added an additional box of regular pound cake mix on top of that with no extra ingredients to get the perfect amount of batter for that pan. It came out perfectly firm but moist enough for all of our guests to rave over it! HTHs!
