Cornstarch City!

Ok...I am new to fondant and have a cornstarch question. I just made a cake covered in fondant with fondant accents. It has soooo much cornstarch on it!!! Is there a special tool/technique for getting the cornstarch off of the cake? It looks waaaaaaay chalky. icon_eek.gif

I don't use cornstarch for that reason. However, you can try to use a DRY pastry brush or your hands to rub it off.

I roll on a plastic sheet, using a tiny bit of shortening.
