I LOVE Fondx too - been using it for about a year and a half - mostly for decorations on buttercream cakes. It tasts wayyyy better than Satin Ice. Love the smell and taste, and handles so well. I think if anyone tries it, they will love it too! Mine lasts a long time.

I have been using Pettinice with chocolate and and not very happy with it. Is there a dream fondant that rolls out easily, aplies easlily to the cake, does not tear, wrinkle, get air bubbles, dries to a nice fishish? One that you can add color to without it tearing or wrinling and one that TASTES great? Can it be Fondx?

I have been thinking about trying Satin Ice but I think I am going to go wtih Fondx and see if it comes close to being the one.

I would like to know what kind of fondant the top decorators on this site use - like Sugarshack, Indydeb, Tonedna, Melvira, cakepro, and others.

I tried Fondx and it was AWESOME. I'd love to kiss the son of the creator.

I buy 30 pounds of FondX at a time.

Although, the FondX is cheaper at cakedeco.com, the shipping is over $30!

I buy it from CalJava, where the fondant is a few dollars more, but the shipping is only $12.95 for 30 pounds.

Fondx does not come in a smaller size than the 10 lb bucket. It lasts a long time as long as it's properly stored. I mainly use Fondx but it is only in white and ivory and I use Satin Ice for colors. Also the Fondx does not cut well on the cricut but the Satin Ice does.
