I need some help with an idea. I have a lady who wants a cake for her Dad's 80th birthday....a heart shape (small it's only for 2 people) with edible images on it. I have a lot of pictures to work with.......anyone have any ideas. I would like it to be unique, not just pictures on a cake, I was thinking the pictures done on edible image plagues and standing up from the cake with wire but am worried that it's too feminine.

Thanks for your help!

I like the idea of the little plaques. I don't think it's to femine (sp?). On the heart cake you don't have whole lot of room to work with so I think that would work well and look good to.

How many images do you have to work with? If it's a small cake I agree that there might not be a lot of room to having a standing image but what do you think about doing sort of a decoupage style? Depending on the number of photos you have maybe you could cover the top with the pics & then do something like a basketweave around the sides & then a nice border. Good luck!!
