I'll be trying this recipe this weekend and wondering if anyone has used this icing before and can tell me if it will crust so that I can use the Viva papertowel method.

TIA!

It is a very good cream cheese icing, and yes, it crusts well.

I've used it once, for me it doesn't have enough of a cream cheese taste. But it is a good working icing

I agree with Peg - This "buttercream" icing doesn't taste like anything but sugar. If you like the taste of icing from a can, this is basically it.

I add a packet of dream whip to it...kind of a cross between Indydebi's and Earlene's recipes, and it keeps it from feeling greasy when you eat it. It crusts pretty well.
