New here. Beginner. I've made MMF and am planning on using it for accents on a 3D Front End Loader cake I am doing for my soon to be 2 yr. old. Can anyone tell me if MMF hardens? I would like to do the roof and front and rear grills with it, but am wondering if I can do the accents ahead of time. Party is this Sat. Aug.25. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

In my experience, MMF never really gets hard. It will get firmer but not like store bought fondant.

I would use modeling paste for that sort of thing. Here's a recipe in the files:

I haven't tried making this with MMF, but it could be worth a shot.
