Hey everyone,

This weekend I am doing a cake for a young lady getting married and she wants an ivory spin on the Wilton Resplendence.

Her mother wants to do all the floral work on the cake, but wants me to place the candles on the cake. Meaning I only have the candles and she wants them on the cake so when she gets to the church she can place the flowers and greenery accordingly.

Any suggestions on placing the candles? I thought about styrofoam cut down almost to the size of the three candles, but i wasn't sure if any of you had any experience with this or anything similar. I just want to make sure that the flowers cover whatever is holding the candles. I always get great advice here so I knew this was where to turn!

Thanks ya'll icon_smile.gif

I used floral candle cups (after running thru the dishwasher, of course). Here's a link for example, it worked like a dream: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/candlecups2.html
